Nazneen, is it sending a link to a secondary address that you put on file with gmail?

Alternatively, what browser are you using? Try using Internet Explorer just to make sure there is nothing on the page that is hidden due to an incompatible browser.

Apparently this is a common thing that system administrators are missing. I just created a Skype account, the account was activated and I was logged into Skype. However the next time I went to login I got a bad password message. I did a password reset, then entered my initial password as the new password. I received an error that the password was longer than twenty characters. (I never count these things.)

So the initial sign-up and login on Skype accepts any length password, but only the first twenty characters are stored for subsequent logins. UGH! Who's running this place anyways?

This limitation of 16 chars and - what is worse - silent truncation of stored password is still true in June 2010.
